Can my Guinea Pig eat Peppers (Capsicum), Sweet Orange?

Yes, they can eat it daily!




A delicious addition to a varied diet - guinea pigs should have a minimum of 5 leafy greens to make up their staple vegetable portion. High in vitamin C.


While capsicums or sweet peppers are sweeter than leafy greens, their high vitamin C content means that daily small amounts of a 1 cm x 1 cm cube can be valuable




 

Guinea pigs and rabbits should have a variety of at least 5 different types of leafy greens to protect against nutritional excesses and deficiencies. At least 80% of the diet should be a good quality grass or cereal hay.
